Bike n Hike took place on Saturday 12th September. This annual sponsored event, organised by the Beds and Herts Historic Churches Trust, inspires participants to explore local heritage by visiting churches across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. The money raised is shared between the churches and the Trust, and helps to fund repairs, crucial for the upkeep of these special places. A few members of St Mary‘s Church took part and the building was opened to receive many visitors that day. The weather was dry and bright and the family pictured reports that they had a great time. They especially enjoyed finding routes that would have remained undiscovered had they not taken part.
